Default Garage roof............

How much will i be looking at roughly to re-felt a standard size single garage roof????

Ive sprung a leak and every roofer ive phoned are either not answering, too busy to give a quote or have said they cant do it for at least 2 months!!!!!

Is it that hard to do yourself???

Cheers.

I just dont want to make a mess of it thats all. Ive seen proper roofers do it with the burners and hot tar, but obviously i dont have the stuff to do it like that.

Can you do it without the hot tar then?

You can also get rolls of "flashing tape" - basically a roll of tar that you apply like stickytape

Just patch it up till you can get a roofer. OR patch it up then replace the shitty felt for a pitched roof with tiles...

Yeah your right mate. Id like a pitched roof but i assume it'll be fairly expensive.

not too bad mate that!

Rough idea of a pitched one would be about £1500-£2000 inc ya trusses, facia, soffit, tiles, ridges and labour depending on size. Its a lot to splash out but once its done its done
