Esc Cos Owners....
Just purely out of curiosity, how expensive would you say it is to own and run an Esc Cos? Like month by month or how ever?
Obviously theres the initial outlay, but after that? Is it possible to even calculate something like that?
I wondering for maybe next year sometime............Well right now i am

if you can afford to buy one twice you will be able to run/fix it no probs, all the time (if your unlucky)
only have one if you can put up with it off the road regular! if you can only just afford to buy one in the first place

I think it just means be prepared to spend loads. mines away at the mo till next summer but when it comes out it needs new MOT and a service, which will be at a motorsport company. bigger specs have more chance of breaking to as you can imagine

Most ive had to spend over 4 years is on tyres! Daily runner, 4500 miles a year, for me no worse than any other 10 year old Ford.
Problem I find is getting parts!

I would have liked a Esc Cos for my everyday car but doing anywhere between 12k-15k miles a year i figured it would be too expensive on things that will need and the parts arent cheap and becoming harder to get hold of and the chances of blowing an engine is higher than a newer car i.e a Focus RS.
Make an excellent 2nd car tho

How longs a piece of string? Will Obviously depend on what car you buy in the first place. I hardly use mine and do about 1000 miles a year with no problems, just servicing items so far.
If you buy a good example, you shouldnt really have any major problems. Buy a heap and you more than likely will and could cost you 1000's as youll probably expect. Saying that, luck probably plays a big part too, but like any car, you get bad ones and you get good ones. Its where service history and talking to the owner comes into it. You can ususally tell how its been cared for by the receipts and having a chat with the owner, in my opinion.

Fuel on average a month based on 12k a year, 1k a month and say 250 [more than likely less] miles per tank [65 litres] @ a £1 a litre for SUL would be approx £260
You're looking at nearly £350 a month without adding on top of that, the usual things like oil/oil filters/brake pads/tyres/servicing etc THEN also allowing for any parts breaking.... it ain't cheap!

Esc Cos's are a Russian roulette The high milage ones have parts fail, the low millage ones have parts deteriate As long as the car has been regually used and properly serviced you shouldn't have any probs
At the end of the day just do it mate.. if you can't afford it keep it sell it on Esc's keep their money luckily

I do about 25,000 miles a year, I drive mine every day, its a standard T25. Don't be afraid of a small turbo car either, people who slate them are either ill informed (as I was ) or have never had one very very under-rated, I bought mine with the sole intention of ripping it to bits and making it RWD with my 500+BHP engine build, but I actually like the car far too much to take it to bits , I do about 50-60 miles to £10, with varied driving, don't use a lot of oil, then its just routine maintainance like pads/tyres/filters etc - I will probably buy a crap car for the winter but If you look after it, check the oil and water daily, (like the handbook tells you to!!) and just keep on top of it then it won't cause you any headaches buy one and enjoy it, just make sure you get a good standard one or one thats been modded proffesionally

It's like any car if you drive it like a race car all the time then it will cost alot and brake but as said above if you get a good standard one or one thats been modded proffesionally and look after it then you should'nt have much trouble with it.

Seen three round Barnet area, one white one in East Barnet and two near where youve seen, both in North Finchley! One mallard and the other could be jewel violet or aubergine!
