custom propshafts
anyone had one made, and more to the point does anyone know what the balancing tolerances are like ?
ive just run a std 4x4 rear prop on my lathe and the run out is the best part of 1mm almost over a length of approx 300mm
just how far out can these things run out of true ?

I get custom shafts made for customers all the time.
Albeit 95% of them are single piece units and as they are built from scratch and they are dynamically balanced in 100 props over 3 years there's never been a problem.
