Just changed discs and pads on mine, they were on for over 2 years and did lots of trackdays too.

national sport grooved jobbies. standard size.
The pads are now just off half worn, and the second set of discs are shagged, no grooves left, big lip on the edge.

Could be the discs are crap then. I have AP discs and even my old ones had the grooves left, ^Nutter^ has them now as they can easily be skimmed.
Edited to add.... yep they do cause a lot of brake dust.

I am confused as DS2500s shouldn't eat discs
. If you had said that about DS3000s, then I would agree, but not DS2500s - are you sure somebody hasn't sold you DS3000s by mistake? What is the reference on the pads?
As to Ryan, I would recommend TWO sets of pads - DS2500 for the road and DS3000 for the track.... Prices are on my website for all AP sizes (check disc height though).

Don't use PF Carbon Metallics.
They may stop the car VERY well, but they eat discs for breakfast, and end up leaving metallic brake dust up the side of the car!

I have always been told > new discs > new pads.
I had to wait 7 days for my pads after I fitted the discs so drove with the old ones on, they made the discs look awful.
