have had my discs now for 2 years .. have run ds 3000's and 2500's on em .. still got plenty of life in em (well apart from the heat cracks ) and i like to late brake on the track

As above had ds2500 on my rs superb pads, just changed the discs and pads and thought i'd try some mintex 1144's regretting it already!!!

Got these on the rear of my cossie and im using ds3000's,done 4 or 5 trackdays and a few thousand road miles and there still good!

Its normal and correct to bed in new discs on old pads, or vice versa, you should generally bed in new pads on old discs.
I have always been told > new discs > new pads.

I had to wait 7 days for my pads after I fitted the discs so drove with the old ones on, they made the discs look awful.
No panic, but point 2 on the AP website also mentions it

1144's are not the equivalent to ds2500's, you should have tried 1155's if you wanted similar performance.
