improving economy
in the next few days i should be getting either a nissan navara or mitsi l200 for work (company truck)
we have quite alot of work that is wuite a few miles round trip
is there anything that can be done to improve fuel economy on these?
think they are both 2.5td, not fussed about spending a few quid as i will have it for a while and should pay for itself over time
thanks

PassionFord Post Whore!!
theyre shit, absolute shit. i used to work in a private dealership that sold all the jap pick ups and theyre all horrid. the only 1/2 decent one is the toyota D4D, not the vigo, but the newer of the older shape ones. nicest drive and best engines. 3.0, and better econemy than the 2.5/2.8 nissan/mitsi stuff.
if you want a cheap runner though, and arnt bothered about it being shit slow, get a non-turbo 2.5 derv l200. be warned though they are slow.
