Default Running crap!!!

Over filled my oil the other day (1999 mondeo 2.0lx) all though i didnt realise at the time, until i was on the motorway and had clouds of smoke behind me. I was only out in it for about 10 mins and i have since drained the excess oil out (now on the max mark). just for good measure i changed the spark plugs and air filter. I now have a new problem....the car judders under acceleration so much the the steering wheel shakes, it aslo idles a bit erratically. and when im stationary and blip the accelerator i get a pffffft noise briefly. i thought maybe the plugs were gapped wrong and checked them on the net and i have been given the wrong plugs so i put the old ones back in (i numbered them when i took them out so there all back in the same place) but its still got the same problem. Any ideas?
