Get some Anti-Ulcer. Mine had this earlier this year. The fish don't like it, they go quiet and off their food but it works.

Follow the instructions to the letter though mate...............and do it soon as the longer you leave it the more likely you are to loose the fish.

Not sure its Dropsy as the fish wouldnt get bloated, it gets a curved back and the tail sits lower iirc.

saying that if its dropsy the only thing you can do really is take it out and kill it
