what's it worth posts
if you want to know how much something is worth, can't you look elsewhere on the web? for example, see what other examples are selling for on ebay, check parkers price guide for cars etc?
far too many of them on here at the moment imo, and it's getting really boring to read. particularly the 'this is not a for sale post' ones. why do you need to say that? obviously it will be up for sale if you think that you'll get enough for it, as everything has a price.
and at the end of the day, something is worth what someone will pay for it

I have been moving quite a few in the past 2 days
But then i get PM's or moaned at by people saying---"Im not looking to sell it, just seeing what its worth"

There is no need mate
If someone wants to see what a 2WD T34 engine is worth.......Post it in the parts for sale section but put on it that you are looking to see what its worth..
The people who are looking in there are the ones that will be buying it, so they can tell you what they are willing to pay. You can then gauge what it worth

WHAT A LOAD OF FUCKING BOLLOX
if i post whats a set of mag rl7 wheels worth and someone wants em there not gonna fucking say ( 2k mate, im looking for a set too)
there gonna say 50 quid mate simple as
when you sell ANYTHING you wanna know a price to see if its worth it or not
i personally cant see the issue tbh as your helping each other rather than lettign us get ripped off
a whats it worth forum would be a waste to unless you think theres members on here who only wanna post what prices are worth
let em stay in general imo,,,,, moving em to forsale is pointless as they may NOT be for sale and just trying to gauge if what there buying is a deal,,,,, but then they get mobbed with pm's asking for the best price from members

theres LOADS of stuff that anoys me, really is but i chooose not to comment on things that anoy me like im suire others have simmiler things
but stopping em for that reason is wrong as in reality all you gotta do is not read the posts

The forum is for discussion and to help people, yes..so questions from people..and answers from others..are helpful..??
However..they could be even more helpful..if they were in the section for the wheels/car/whatever so people who knew something about that item could value it. Plus in the GD it's off the first page in not very long so you may not even get help before its gone

i agree with you mate, some people not selling stuff maybe gonna buy something and want other peoples opinions on if its worth it, i put a post up earlier as to price of a bike cause i know shit all about em and know a few people on here do and the post got moved
as for people getting tired of reading HOW MUCH posts, simply dont fucking read em

you have failed to see the most common aspect regarding these posting,99% are from NON paying gold members who then in turn do not just ask whats somethings worth BUT then post the full spec of what thay are asking about,I wonder why
there nothing wrong wqoth asking for an opinon as the iten is obviously going to be for sale and in turn will be advertsied in the correct section providing the poster IS a paid member

I totally agree with Pete,this has got fook all to do with "What something is worth" it`s about non gold members trying to offload something without paying like the rest of us.....
