have just found out that the 1.6 zetec engine in my van is running on a 1.6 cvh loom with a cvh ecu the only difference (im told) is that the cvh loom dosent have a cam shaft sensor how serious is this ???

2 weeks now ran like a beaut 1st week

now is running like a bag a shit so asked sum 1 i know who informs me of the cvh loom and ecu and the cam postion sensor thing just feel like i had my pants pulled down a little

 

do j-k reg escorts have the edis security thing round the ignition barrel ????

i take it its a efi cvh ecu, if so then the map is the thing to worry about rather than the cam sensor as the ecu dont need to see it


the map aint gonan be right though

 

am just thinkin of getting a whole new loom but the chances my scrappy having loom ecu and key are low so am thinkin get a j-k reg loom then i wont need the key.
