****Disneys Cars....... I need Flo's v8 Cafe playset....***
I need to get hold of one of these playsets for my 2 boys, its my eldests birthday next month, and he really wants Flo's Cafe to complete his set, he already had maters garage, luigi and guido's costa della tyres, and ramones body art sets, but he needs the 4th one to complete the set.
The price is £16.99 or there abouts, but everyshop i have been in have said the Flo's cafe is only avalibale in the U.S.A
I've looked on E.bay and they are going for £30 + then £25 p&p
so thats out of the question to

thats what happens when you let disney's marketing machine run roit all over your kids 
if it's only available in the us of america, can you not buy it from ebay america?
what about direct from diesney's evil empire? will they not sell it to you?
the only other thing to do is to fork out a shed load of cashorama for the ebay ones you can find that will garanteed get to your doorstep in less than 1 months time

If they are in short supply, you have 2 choices,
Buy now, and pay silly money, and let someone get rich as a result.
Wait till the market is flooded with them and pay reasonable money
Its all a matter of how much YOU want your kids to have the current "Must have Toy"
It a repeat of Toy story, cabbage patch dolls, the oven thing etc, etc

my sons just about figured out that he was getting a bit more attention if he starts to cry
so he was crying all the time
sod that for a laugh, we just stood there and let him cry, and then he'd start laughing and we'd pick him up
mind you, soemtimes it's hard to say no ain't it, they make it seem like you are an evil orge and make sure everyone knows it too, especially in tescos/sainsburys etc

well she aint got a tv in her room,,,,, and i thought it was cool also
ok i gave in as a kid crying in tesco just makes you look a crap parent
oh and yeah she does tend to get anything she wants,,,,,,,,, also lots of other family members fall for the smae routine too,,,,, we are all weak people
my parents bought her a violet coloured butterfly cake as she loves the colour violet and loved it was a butterfly,,,,, she seen it and it was bought,,,,, that was 2 months ago too,,,,, not even her birthday

dojj I agree with the 'typical disney con etc...' but the thing is.... your only a kid once and im not going to ruin HIS birthday just because others are making money from me 
Bal, for once i agree with you, i give the kids everything they want, Matt always moans at me about it, but its all part of the fun.... besides I happen to love cars (the film) aswell, so as i'm the one sat in all day with them i figured why not buy something im gonna enjoy playing with to

not saying ruin his birthday (now you are making me sound like the orge 
) but these big companies know that kids will kick up a fuss and the parents tend to buy stuff for them to placate them
i know we are all only kids once but that doesn't mean that, as kids, we get spoilt by everyone buying stuff for us

as far as im aware there is only 4 sets, and they have a road inbetween just like in the film, give me 5 mins and i'll get a pic for you of ours

We got them the actual cars way before the film was released at the Cinema.... hence why we have the whole collection apart from Lizzie

Sorry to bump up an old thread just found it funny as my 2 years old son is nuts on Cars aswell, he has a Mack transporter which he fills with cars and HAS to have in bed with him at night, in fact I think it has been in his bed everynight since his Grandma bought it for him in August!
These are the ones he has at the moment
I'm just finishing his Lightning Mcqueen theme Bedroom and he has loads more cars coming for Christmas.. inc Ramones Spray shop.. you still can't get those V8 Cafe in UK gonna have to get one of Ebay US..can't help myself getting mugged of by Disney
