Default Need a driver for my JVC DV Camcorder thingy
Anyone know where to get one, that I don't have to pay money for, or, do 1000 online surveys only to find it don't work with XP

Have got the install disc, any good for you?

Thats the one! I just took it back to the shop for a refund, as had quite obviously been opened, as the disc was missing, and the screen was fucked. But it was that model.

I'll go and have another look in the shops tomorrow

If its connecting via firewire then the driver should be built into windows xp.

If your camera connects to your pc via a firewire connection cable then there is no additional software required or camera drivers. Its just like when you plug a digital photo camera into the USB port on your pc.

You can try www.driverguide.com. Use that site to search.

Use the following login details

USR: drivers
PAS: all

Search for the driver, its all done by manufacturer.
