Whether somebody who uses it can create a track for me???
I play Racer the free driving game (www.racer.nl) and there are loads of really really good cars and tracks.........
But nobody has yet done the one I want.........Snetterton.
Ive got aerial views, schematic and outline view of the track.
I have posted on one of the many forums a request.
I can help with any texture editing etc since I use Photoshop quite a bit. Juts kow nothing about how to use any 3d software to create a track.
Can you help or offer any advice???

But would that be a case of having to buy the software just to create the track or can you download a trial version or something good enough to do it???

Use it at uni quite a bit.
Easy enough to get the hang of, easy to model a track for sure.
Only problem would be converting it to a game file etc, wouldn't know where to start really.
Download a version and have a play about.

Im sure converting would be fairly easy based on the number of people who create these tracks.
If you think it would be easy to model this track could you perhaps do the basics for it if i gave you the plan view???
this is what usually happens on the Racer forums then everybody else pitches in and does updates of scenery etc etc.
Ive downloaded Blender but at the moment am having a bit of trouble completing one of the tasks since the tutorial doesn't allow for you to zoom in and im trying to add bezier curves without zooming
There must be a different way of importing the track image i have.......
the tutorial has you import it as a background and then by adding bezier curves and joining then up create and outline of the track, then remove the background image and your left with the basis of the track.
