My other half was on her way up to Norfolk this week, when, on the A1M at speed, she wheard a loud thud and the steering wheel started to shake...
Ended up getting it recovered back home on a flatbed and discovered this:


Fooking thing had snapped!! Here it is in kit form:

Just got to clean up the oil and cack thats pissed out in the wheel arch. Thank fook it didnt turn her into the barrier or anything!!

All sorted now, put my old RL7's on, while i was at it:

 

That's a case of severe corrosion, looks like its been waiting to happen for a while.

thats not good but water must have been sitting in the cup for a while and finally ate through. glad she wasnt hurt though, that could have turned nasty

 

bruce read had it happen to his front leda on his old 3 door looked like poor welding or severe faigue

 

nasty my missis just had a shocker pop on her punto still drives but not very nice..

upside tho got new parts fitted and them rims look sweet!
