Creedy is going to drive my car up to weston tomorrow so i can do some mapping on the way as i havent had much chance to yet, so if anyone wants a look at the software and how it works etc feel free to pop along for a demo

What with only 8 lines of resolution for the ignition advance as opposed to 16 on his product?


Seriously though, Nikola has done a fantastic job of it all, but there are obviously still some basic limitations that Simon doesnt have on his far more powerfull ECU.

Both have their merits IMHO

 

Am i the only one that likes the S8 software?

I must say, if i had to put my money behind one product (not person) it would have to be the S8 and not RP labs.

 

Well, I do like mine a lot and I know it's got a lot more potential!! Just a question of when the new stuff gets released as promised

 

I quite like the S8 software too, but its not a patch on the RP Labs stuff to be honest mate.

On the RP Labs stuff you can still do everything by key press when live mapping (which is what i know you like about the S8) but its also a much nicer interface too and got a nice polished feel to it.
Once you get a chance to use it, you will be a fan of RP Labs too i suspect
