Yes, There is a M3 Evolution version with 321bhp instead of 286bhp. And AFAIK, the Evo version has a 6 speed box.

I think its just the leather interior, mines got the full leather "vader" trim. As for engines, they change over to the evo around 1995, which has more bhp, and a six speed box. Hope this helps!!

The only signs that could give the seller that he thinks its a "Motorsport" is on the alloys and possible the rear spoiler where the brake light goes.

Anything else that mentions "Motorsport" is a add on.

That seems about right mate, they are ace cars, as much as i loved my cossie, the bm is better in most respects. The main one is that i dont think it will brake down every time i rag it!! Saying that if it wasnt my everyday car i would have a cossie again defo!!!

True!! i spent a small fortune keeping mine on the road, if they were as reliable as my bm, would have one again, would just have to convince my girlfriend that it wont brake down......

The one above sounds like a copy GT as they were made in 95 and the GT2s were red. There were lots of variants but most are MEGA rare, CSL, M3R, GTR, etc.

Will take abuse all day long without breaking unlike certain motors that break even when given royal treatment, I know.

3.0 M3 up to late 95, 286 bhp 5 speed
3.2 "Evolution" 96 on, 321 bhp 6 speed

There are dash differences and different leather/ alcantara options
Special edition GT and Individual models.

No, wood was a bad option and your right the plain leather is far nicer. Stu at MSD does them for £450 iirc.

Ha ha ha ha yes james i like em , i just like annoying the select few on here that think its the best car on the planet and every other car especially cossies is shit

cossies are fantastic as long as u know how its been treated by previous owners ,just a shame 99% have had shoddy treatment and old cars now that u cant help but get problems with age

oh and Millsy FYI I actaully prefer Cossies to M3`s , try n get ya head round that one if u will, I`ll tell u why, my current circumstances mean an M3 is better suited for me , what with just taking on a mega mortgage etc....hence why I sold the Cossie for an M, I will have another one day though.

Some manage to make 310ish, but I've had three consistant RR results:
319bhp,
324bhp
325bhp,
At three different RR's and thats with minor mods as they are well set up as std, pretty good for no turbo!

Evo's are hurrendous on fuel. I used to get between 90-120 miles to a tank(£30).

Worst ever was 64 on a back road mission...

Whats the best to go for... evo one or non evo???
