immy you wont get the ecu fact
we got paying customers that have been waiting sinse march for ecus and still dont have them

i think secs needs to go back to the drawing board am afraid theres issuses with them that am not going into on here tryed to ring him but as usaual no answers
hope you enjoy the wait you can always buy mine if you wish

cozzybrom,

VERY DISSAPOINTED

If you are REALLY REALLY not happy with the ECU please return it to me
or perhaps I should collect it on national day - isnt it still running your car ??
Didnt you say on another thread your car was running ok ?

I have given you a FREE ecu and installed it into your car for FREE and the only
problem you have had with it is with your rev counter which I will sort over the next
few days.
And now you are offering to sell it on to someone else

I have responded to EVERY phone call I have had from Sean/ZOO/Karl provided
a message has been left for me on the answerphone if I do not answer the call
straight away.

As for supplying ECU's to other ZOO customers, I will take that up with Sean
but this situation has now been resolved
and ecu's are now flowing off the production line.

ECU's are usually built to order but now I am trying to hold some stock
in these days of online shopping and next day delivery !

simon if you read i am happy with the ecu just the things you promised dont work
you said pin 21 is the trigger feed
theres nothing there
no water injecton it dont power up the relay with the earth switched
the lauch control dont work either
we ran you 4 times yesterday and you dont answer the fone like last nite when we was mapping the car we needed to know a few things and you dint answer or ring back
you told me i would have another ecu here on thurday and still nothing
so far we not had much look considering this was zoos demos car the demo was very poor
try annswering your fone and may be we wunt have to post on the net in public
if the ecu is free and thats why it dont do the thinks it spose to do then i will happyly pay the full amount if i get whats on the box
i was gona drive down to you to get another ecu last nite but again you dint answer the fone
but you answer it to every one else
so it looks like your egnoring your problems mate
as for being disapointed am disapointed its come to this

Brom,
I have had NO messages left on my answer phone from you so how was I supposed to know this.

I do NOT spend my life waiting for my phone to ring as I do have a life outside
of work and so if a message is not left how do you expect me to respond.

The only problem I was aware of was the rev counter which I will resolve soon.
As for the water injection problem, this is the first time I have heard about this.
This problem could be anything. (wiring/relay/configuration or even the ecu itself)

As I have said before, give it back to me if you are not happy with it.
Otherwise why not praise it its good points ?

It has not cost you a penny and it is fast becoming more grief than it is worth to me.

I have MANY other satisfied customers but it seems that only the bad things are
ever reported on this we site not the good !

Why sell a product that isn't 101% tested? You don't hear of any other ECU manufacturer having these problems.

yep I agree there. Need to keep your beta testers happy though!! and I believe this product is on general sale is it not?

I don't think i'd be willing to beta test a Ł500 ECU on my Ł10k engine.

All features (Apart from launch control) have been fully tested.
Problems can be caused by wiring, not understanding how it works,
miss configuration and yes the ecu could be faulty.
Trying to second guess a problem over an internet tread post is not a very
good idea.

To say that other ecu's dont have these problems is false statement.

I have had bad experience with Omex,Motec etc but these were overcome
once I had talked to the relevant people which is my point exactly !!

simon why do you have to paint a picture on here and not tell the truth
1st i ran you about 2 hrs ago and left a message 10 mins later you ring sean back fact
why not ring me ?
2 sean rang you last nite around 7 oclock and there was 5 other ppl there at the time you did not return his call
you told sean on wnesady a ecu will be in the post for thurs and it never turned up so i was gona fetch it yesterday so we cuold map it last night
3
i spent over 350 on shift lights and rev counter only to be told by demon tweeks they wont change one for a coil pack trigger so now i got to spend another 350 to get it right becuse your ecu does not have a rev counter output you told us on the fone weeks ago you can confeger it to run any pulse you want ( a total lie)
if there wernt any problems the i would shout it from the roof tops but at the min its been nothing but hassel this end
if you ring ppl bac instead of egnoring your problems then it wouldnt get out of hand

i oferd to build your engine the other month if you remeber so favors go both ways
so ring me and lets sort it out

Everyone is quick enough to point out problems but it seems when things
go well you can hear a pin drop in austrailia.

Why is it that people would rather discuss these issues here first before
speaking to me first so I can resolve them.

Its even more of a p*ss off when the original goods are freebies.

I have sold a load of the ecu's and I can only presume if I hear nothing from
the customers that all must be well.

I am not a mind reader and will always help out where I can as soon as I can
but only if I am told.

May I add that in general I have found the S8 to be a very good ecu. There are a few issues that need resolving and I have some recommended improvements that I will happily feed back to simon, but credit where credit's due, its an excellent product and as time progresses I'm sure it will become even better!!!

AARRRGGGHHHHH I just want a quiet life .....

cozzybrom,

Just spoke to Sean after his message was left on my phone. (BY him personally)
There is NO message from YOU Brom ..!!

I think its best if you just give the ECU back to me Brom as I dont think
you will ever be happy no matter what I do.
I will come and get it on national day to save you the postage !

Karl,
Thanks for the comments - I do welcome constructive criticism.

WTF??

To use your analogy.

I do complain when I phone the helpline, get no answer cos the guys from the phones are off building TVs!

"Anytime you want to discuss how time consuming it is to develop these products
and keep everybody happy all the time please give me a call. "

If you aint got time to sell AND develop. Just develop or get someone else to help.

Anyway what do I care. I'm sick of trying to help people. What do I gain for trying to help people. Answer = nothing.

Just tried construtively to suggest he may want to improve his customer service side of the company. The development side seems to be working well!

Anyway nuff on the subject. Good luck to all involved and I wish you all the best.

Jon you aint helping your putting the fooking boot in Yes i think Simon does need more staff..BUT thats as far as it goes THINK......

TBH..after the slating i gave SECS over delivery of my moniter...and then he offering to let me try before i buy an ECU which on the tin is perfect for me..i think he can have a second chance...and on my findings i will be honest as to what i think of it...and NO i wont map it entirely on my own....this is the perfect ecu to learn about this kinda thing If it has faults then i am sure they will be sorted.....i do understand its a new product.

If he has chosen to not do this, he will have his reasons, which back to my original point, are none of our business.

Someone at the end of a phoneline during office hours is a definetate step in the right direction. Communication is key. If someone tells you something will take a week to fix. You won't have a problem. If you can't get hold of someone, customers get frustrated..
