im getting quite a bit of interference from my live feed to my amp,im going to reroute it but is there anything i can insulate it with to help stop the interference? or is there any really good cable i can buy?
all earths seem fine,it seems to be interfering with my cd changer lead as the radio is perfect but put one of the cds on and it starts to interfere and cut out completely
it only really matters on cheap non-shielded RCA's as they pick up the current from the power leads and can cause 'noise' in a system
if you have used quality rca's they normally come double or even triple shielded and you should have no problem
bassboy
this is called capacitive re-actance, and is a common cause of interferance, however if its dooing it only on the cd changer setting, try running an independant earth to the changer and that should sort it, as your more likely to have an earth problem on the shitty multi core that runs to the changer.

never knew the technical term as ive never done electronics (well only the VERY VERY basics) but that was going to be my next suggestion if mine didnt work lol
