Does anyone know of, or has used any alternative Media Center programs to Windows Media Center? I can't get it to be reliable no matter what I do I have tried the lastest Vista beta and that won't run with my sound card

 

windows media centre isnt realiable?

Care to elaborate? first ive heard

 

Last week I did a clean install on a reformat, done all the updates, all latest drivers now it just freezes all the time when doing anything with the TV (flicking through the Program Guide and just flicking through the channels). If I leave it on one channel it is ok though!

 

Thats weird, media centre is usually pretty good

I havent used it myself though, neither do i know of any other alternatives

Im sure someone else can shed some light......
