always have your blower running with it blowing over the screen. it may take days or weeks to clear all the moisture from the interior but you need a constant flow of fresh air into the cabin that then flows out again at the rear to keep the relative humidity down inside.

even better, use air con

seeing people driving along with misted up windows is one of my pet hates as an a/c engineer, as i know that it's totally avoidable

Thats the trouble with this weather, the dampness in the air causes alot of misty screens

I usually find putting the air con on works instantly...(thats if u have it), if not then defo blowers on flat out should do the trick.

Default heaters

If you have air-recirculation make sure its swithed to air coming in from the outside as if its just re-circing inside it would mist up.

Check your heater matrix isn't leaking too

Had this on my saph, only a slight leak too

Also check you haven't got water sitting in the bulkhead area where the heater fan draws the air from, there is some drainage channels/holes which do get blocked up with leaves etc

I always drive round with my window(s) open unless its freezing cold, doesnt effect fuel, but the air con does, not to a point where i dont use it, but to a point where id rather just open the front windows an inch or 2 rather than turn on the A/C

I use it alot in the summer time though, its a godsend

you'll probably find that driving round with your windows open creates more aerodynamic drag, and uses more fuel than driving with the air-con on.

exactly

at least with a/c, once it's cooled down the cabin and done the hard work it uses very little energy having the windows down always creates drag, and is especially bad at motorway speed.

Heater matrix may be leaking....

BUT failing that, what do you use to clean the screen? If you are using polish, or non automotive glass cleaning products, that would do it....
