Default Cobra alarm, shite range any suggestions

I have a Cobra alarm fitted to my car and just wondered if anyone else has one ? as the range on mine is shite you mite as well be sprawled across the bonnet to get the bloody thing to deactivate does anyone else have this problem

the areial on mine comes out of the back of the siren in the engine bay

Try holding the alarm fob under your chin ... it does actually work

Yeah I'd look a right one holding my key fob under my chin It would be a case of dont come any closer or I will shoot

use your skull to boost the range of the remote. it works. clarkson demonstrated it on tv once - but then his head is bloody massive.

It would just be nice to be able to deactivate my alarm without sticking the key fob to my head or standing at the side of the car for 5mins in the pissing down rain trying to get a signal and yes I have tried the battery in case someone suggest's that

just got a cobra alarm i will see what range it's got when i get
some instruction on fitting it

Just wish that there was some way of improving the bloody signal WITHOUT sticking the key fob to my skull
