Default 06 ZX6-R

Took my bike to the dealer yesterday after my recent 'off'...anyway they've written the bike off pretty much.

They just happened to mention they had a 2006 ZX6-R demonstrator in and would i like to take it for a spin for 30 minutes

Would I?

An awesome machine and I'm seriously thinking about stumping up the £6300 asking price [once I get my pay-out]!!

The induction noise was phenomanal....

Anyone got one? What do you think to it??

Or am I asking in the wrong place?

I found it very comfortable...but I suppose thats dependant on body size etc....

Power delivery and grunt I can't really comment as I haven't ridden any of the other modern 600's....all I know is it was much quicker than my J1 ZX6-R and I though the power delivery was very smooth

I'll have to get myself out on the new R6 / Gixers etc....

but i havnt always owned a 12R, i have had quite a few other bikes, and do prefer the lager capacities, anyone who says they dont hasnt owned a big bike, but each to there own, if i had to buy another 600 i would be look in at a gixxer 6 i think, the new sukis do the biz !!

One of THE best bikes out there let alone for a 600, good all rounder by all accounts, shop round though cos there were some great deals on last years models. This does mean they arent worth a great deal 2nd hand so as ever, think twice about buying new when year old seconds are so reasonable £££
Sound great and rev looney

They are great bikes IMO but the looks leave a little to be desired.

If you get one though, do not pay £6300 for it. have a look / phone round a few dealers they are available for about £5500 new or even less if you get a pre-reg one.

Or buy my B1H for even less.....

B1H? J1? I dont know which is which but did read a lot about the 636 model after 02 (whichever that is) was very good

Think you should test ride a couple more manufacturers 600s to compare too
