the police contact th council who then dispose of the vehicle, the WHOLE process wiill take a MIN of 3 days as they got to get back and fill in a report, send it to the council who have SPECIFIC departments for abandond vehicles and THEN they get a contractor to remove the vehicle

thats 3 days but generally if its just been parked there its gonna take a fe days to be noticed as the old bill dont walk down the street 9 times a hour and lookign at car tax discs unless they notice the car looks out of place


ive just been told by the council that my LEGALLY TAXED AND INSURED car has to be moved as it has no engine fitted and they have got complaints dating back 6 months

now they said if i never moved it within 14 days they would remove it under the some dumping vehicle act and then crush it, take me to court, if they loose tey will pay out the value of the car as they just dont want these shitters on the road anymore,,,,,,, thats HONESTLY what i was told
