Default EVO VII Tuning - FAO STU

I am currently looking at buying an EVO VII.

What sort of power / torque increases can be achieved through a live map on a standard car?

AJ,

I much prefer the styling of the VII.

Have you driven an VII? How does the VI compare?

To be honest with you, i prefer my VI over a VII or an VIII, but then again it's probably just cos mines the Tommi Makinen Edition Looks wise the VI looks like a rally car whereas the VI & the VIII look more just like family cars. To drive the VI & VIII feels more smoother but for me it was all about getting a propper evo. I suppose it's down to personal preference mate.

Fudgeass,

Norris Designs is obviously a possibility but am interested whether Stu has live mapped an VII and what figures can be expected.

I read in a review, that a Mitsubishi engineer in Japan, states a simple re-map can give 350bhp on a standard car.

I do beleive the later Evos are not mappable from the Evo 3 or 4 onwards and need an ECU...
