Best advice is get your own done if you want it done properly and to indemnify yourself
HPi and Experian are NOT 100% accurate all the time, if a problem shows up a month after [not unheard of ] you'll have no remittance if you've had someone else do it for you.
Better to spend £20 [ or whatever it costs] than lose thousands

take paddys advice and get one done yourself mate.i took a car in a deal a few weeks ago that had an experian hpi report saying it was clear from a main dealer.i did a different hpi report and it was cat b.experian had made a mistake but i couldnt chase it because my name was not on their report.
i could have lost a lot more than the £30 it would have cost me!
there are some cheaper ones like "car check" which are £9.99 over the net and are pretty accurate but dont check for finance.
better safe than sorry mate
