Can you afford the insurance? Most turbo'd jap motors (pulsar, evo, scooby etc.) are group 20 so thats the thing to check first

Should see you a nice scooby for that as said i would ring about insurance first the only problem with your buget is that every time you go out in your new jap car it will cost you £5 in pro plus as the inside of any jap car of that price is rubbish and will make you wanna go to sleep

An Evo or Pulsar would be my choice but both have their drawbacks.

A proper tuned beantin can see of the jap stuff (in a straight line) and there is nothing like watching the smug bastard grin disappear from an Impreza drivers face when he realises he was blitzed by a shonky old Ford. Most drivers won't beleive a Cossie can beat them never mind a FWD RS Turbo.

I've driven a few turbo jap cars and although quick and nice handling they just seem to lack the soul of an RS. P

I got dashed yesterday! I could'n belive how cheap Evo' 6's are now!! Put insurance quote in and they still want just over 1k!! SO i knocked that on the head. I refuse to pay 1k for insurance anymore.

S14a 200SX, UK car so insurance isnt harsh.

Awesome cars, really are great all-rounders, esp after a few mild mods.

Or if you can afford the harsher insurance Imports always give, Evo2/3s are soooo cheap for the awesome capability of them.

Or if you want RWD and not a 200SX then R32GTSTs are suprisingly fantastic cars, sound nice too.
