i agree mate, ive got an account with halifax who are really good and my old student bank account was HSBC- they are fooking wank

i dont like them as they have their own rules too every other bank

Like if you want to get any cash you have to fill out a poxy form, theres a poxy form for everything and then when you say why do i need to fill out a form they look at you like they are so much better than you, thats just HSBC in kent though, not sure about else where

I work for them and wouldn't use them even with someone else's money! All they are interested in is making cash without giving a damn about customer service!

I work for HSBC and we can do cash withdrawls on a Saturday, only a certain limit mind but we can still give you cash even though the counter is closed.

The main problem with HSBC is the global call centres, nobody likes them, but they are gonna stick with them as long as they produce more accurate results than the UK ones.

I worked for Midland / HSBC for 9 years - 6 years in the branches and 3 years in the City for HSBC Holdings. I still bank with them and have to say I've never had any problems. Saying that, they are greedy fuckers. Most expensive loan rate around, so no wonder the greedy bastards and making Ł5 billion a year profit despite their comment most of their profit is made abroad.

My rase. I suspect the UK contricutes a sizeable chunk of that as the UK is their main personal banking centre.........

and don't even start me off on Bangladeshi call centres, or wherever the fuck they are..........

pmsl

that is so true, whenever i phone the call centre as soon as you say "thanks bye" they go into overload and i feel bad for having to hang up on them, but its the only way to shut them up.

I have spoke to one of my managers about this and basically went along the lines that as long as they are cheaper then they will be open,no matter about customer service etc. It's a total joke!
And as for the 'most of the profit is made abroad' that is total bollocks!
