Computer reset
Need a lil bit of help. I bought a cheapy computer and collected it yesterday, all is well im using it now! lol but all my pictures ect when i send are coming up in the previous owners name
How do i make everything go into my name? he said he wiped it clean but obvously not!

What exactly do you mean when you say "pictures I send are coming up in his name" ???
I'm guessing here that you mean the computer operating system is still set up with his name. If so this should be fairly easy. and I can show you how;
1) Click START on the tool bar and click on the picture at the top next to the name;

Then, you might get this screen;

If you do, just click the CANCEL button and you should see this screen;

Then click the CHANGE NAME (first option) and you should get this;

All you need to do is put your name in and you should be sorted

Click down through all the folders till you get to this location

There is an entry on the right hand side called RegisteredOwner. Double click it an put your name in. Click OK and close the registry editor. Now if you check the owner information, it should have your name there.

open the location up as a folder (sorry, don't know how to explain that bit)

create your own user account ... transfer any files or pics you have to it .. then delete the abdul account
