Default Cambelt fitting. HELP!

Quick question....

Does the rotor arm firing end need to be above the dimple inside the dizzy? Or the other end of the rotor arm?

Don't tell me to just line up the timing marks cos whoever put my motor back together years ago didn't bother lining up the dizzy/auxiliary pulley.

Cheers Stu, when you say centre....?

Looking in the Ford manual, the "copper" end sits above the mark which would make sense as its at TDC on no.1 piston. Is that right? Had no problems last time, but i've moved the bloody dizzy pulley

Must be the middle of teh firing end, or at least within 4 degrees of it.
