Just had my first taste of a US Ford dealer: It has the100k mile ESP warranty.

Car went in for a std service and for the following problems to be looked at:

Zorst rattle at 1650rpm

Coolant leak

one of the 2 horns not working

The service manager called to say it would be $98 ea. (50squids) to check out the zorst and horn before they could say whether it was covered under the warranty. I asked why the guy doign the chassis lube couldnt check whether the cat mount bracket was broken (that happens alot and causes the rattle) - no reply.

Why do they insist on charging for so much stuff when they know they wont get repeat business?! I hate people trying to rip me off !

 

They jsut called to let me know that out of the kindness of their hearts they've repaired the zorst rattle for the price of the 50quid inspection fee LOL!

They found no trace of a water leak despite it losing 1/2litre per month.

Place your bets on the total cost of a general service and tightening up the catalyst bracket !

i'd say more like....take a tube of KY and bend over and get ready to be butt fu*ked !!!
