Does anyone have the following Ford special tool.....
Does anyone have the special puller for removing the cambelt pully of the crank nose on a YB engine, without damaging the alloy cover?
If so, Please may I borrow it, I will pay postage for you, and a little something for your generosity
Cheers
Paul

you mean the toothed pulley not the aux drive pulley?
if so it "shouldn't" need a puller it might just be stuck on the shaft give it some gentle taps and it should come off.
Mind you im sure I have read that some peeps have had to smash it off
mine have always come off no prob.

I'm with Stu on this!!
Mine was seized solid - I drilled a small hole through the width of it top and bottom, then put the tip of my balljoint splitter in the hole and sheared the pulley into two pieces... Took about 5 mins, no way it was coming off without the proper tool, and could I fuck get one!!
It would have to be a very narrow puller to get in there - I filed my puller right down and it still wouldn't fit - there's little room between the cover and the pulley
Neil.
