Default Admiral Insurance....

Got a bit of good news today

Just enquired about the Multicar insurance scheme that Admiral do. Don't know if it's a new thing or something i've never noticed before??

But got all my cars and the other cars in the household under one policy, all fully comprehensive, protected no claims, low excess

So me or my mother can drive any of the 3 cars (370 bhp Sapph cossie, 175 bhp FRST, and the run around 60 bhp Fiat Cinq!! ) 365 day a year all for the small some of £1300 per annum.

Not bad seen as i'm only 23 years young

Thought you lot may be interested as it's miles easier to have all your cars under one policy.

And Admiral were happy to insure a fully modded saff?? Interesting cos I've just left them as they weren't prepared to insure mine being modded, they would only pay out as if the car was standard

Same as above, Admiral refused to insure my Saff as it had a non standard exhaust and filter. Pillocks!

Still don't think thats as good a price as it seems really.

You'd have pobably got the same price or lower by insuring yourelf as a named driver then your mother as a second.

I've had premiums reduced by upto £750 by adding her as a second driver. She doesn't even drive the car, she hates it But i'll be paying £500 PA FC on a group 17 motor

Also got the van insured the same way, that's £230 PA for both of us.

Insurance companies think we are stupid with all this 'multi car' rubbish. I still stand by the French system.....insure yourself, not the car.

Still, if its good for you, that's what counts....i'm just saying, shopping around will always get you a better deal....and its hardly ever by the top advertised brokers.
