FORD FAIR MENTAL DAY
Just another ford fair post to say wot a wicked day we (abc) set out at 530 in the morning me in the white saphie dan in the escoz and paul the lazy fu**er in the RS KID escoz .
All set off trying not to break the cars before we got there and on the track, had a few rips on the way up and left everyone on the m1 then before even i got to the gate the saphie was pissing about only running a bar of boost any way thought i had fixed that prob so we all went out on the track but when dan in the escoz pissed passed me i realised i hadnt any way back in again found the pipe was off the top of the waist gate so off out again ye ha full boost two mental laps then wot i thought was the clutch started to slip so gave up and dan just run the esc for the rest of the day which appart from one split pipe did not miss the beat and looked mental racing doug in his esc . All left about 6 went home on the m40 then the problem with the saphie came to light when the diff blew leaving me on the side of the road waiting for the aa to recover me then get a phone call 15 mins later from dan to tell me some twat hit him up the ass in the escoz so wot an end to the day, and i got back to the garage at 130 this morning .
Any way all in all a good day thank you all for your comments good to see so maney faces saw some mental cars there credit to everyone who made the effort there wish i had more time to walk round but spent most of the day by the track GOOD SHOW PEEPS

Luke and Danny,
Sorry I missed you. Not sure if I was going to blow the day out due to appointments but did go in the end. Moonstone 3-door ran faultlessly and so a big thumbs up Luke for that Did more miles Sunday than in previous 3 years. Call me stupid, and I'm sure you will, but i couldn't find your stand. Where were you ?
Anyhow, fantastic day. Stock looking (supercharged) mid engined Mk1 Fiesta running sub 4 secs 0-60 was one of the stars as was the gorgeous Moonstone Mk1 Cortina with 420bhp NOS Cosworth. The detailing was exquisite
Gonna do National day at Donington in the RS500. Are you going ?
I'll be in touch re. phase 1 on Escort and belt/tensioner change. Now got it's Mongoose exhaust !
Cheers, Meridian (aka Damon if you haven't worked it out yet !)
