Default how expensive was the food at ff?!?!?!?!?!?!

these people hve seriously got to stop ripping us off, if we all went there with packed lunches they've be well fucked, and even though i went with food this year, i STILL had to fork out money when i was hungrwy, but at least i looked around and found the bargin food place at the other end for a £3.20 cheeseburger

what were they playing at charging £5.50 for one at some places?!?!?!?!??!

i know they've got a captive population but this is really taking the piss

i'm seriously considering not going next year because if you don't go with food you spend all your money on it rather than bits for your motor, some people go with their families and you can't say no to a few kids who want an ice creame because they will throw a fit and then the whole days is fucked up because you are hot bothered and pissed off

£1.50 for a basic ice cream and £1.60 for a bottle of coke is also taking the fookin piss

The prices are high because it wouldnt make any difference to profits if they were lowered..you either need to use them or you dont...only the very tight will actually go hungry in protest...the tight just complain LOL.

...but the funny thing is you own bloody Fords..not very shrewd

First year I did Trax at Silverstone was stupidly hot - and everyone began to run out of drinks! At one point there was a near stampeed for bottled water (or coke, fanta etc) and towards the end of the day, drink prices were in some cases, OVER £3 for a 330ml bottle of drink!!!

Outrageous!

Yeah its not great but I either take lunch normally or just put it down as a day out and a treat to go with it. Everyone needs to make money. How often do events like this come around? If you drove their in a diesel it would save you enough in the trip alone to justify the cost.
