Got a new Spec-R strut brace and didn't really want to use self tappers and whilst I've got the suspension off I can get access underneath. Whats the best bolts (bufty pretty looking please

bolts and nuts under IMO, but then i fitted a PROPER strut brace and not a pretty boy one
think mine have 17mil head bolts on em if that helps
also self locking too,,,,, as you dont want em rattling loose

Loving the Rivnut idea
Might have to make another trip to Richard Pon for his Rivnut gun

looking at that pic Paul, you will be pretty close to the top of the engine with that strut brace.
may have trouble with the heat sheild etc....

Wouldnt bother bolting it properly as the strut brace will do very little anyway (compared to the proper type)... You could rivnut, but as soon as it starts to move about, the rivnut may work loose, then you will struggle to get it unbolted at all....
Just use tapers

It fits

Rivnuts and self tapers to hold the struts together
Wouldnt a couple stainless bolts and lock nuts do better?
