Default Best way of fitting a Strut brace

Got a new Spec-R strut brace and didn't really want to use self tappers and whilst I've got the suspension off I can get access underneath. Whats the best bolts (bufty pretty looking please )

xinc plated nut and bolts are what ive got, but be warned they aint comming out again with out taking the legs off again

Is there anyway I could fit studs or something from underneath so I easilly remove it?

they would look wank mate tbh

bolts and nuts under IMO, but then i fitted a PROPER strut brace and not a pretty boy one


think mine have 17mil head bolts on em if that helps


also self locking too,,,,, as you dont want em rattling loose

what about using a riv nut, were u rivet in a threaded boss into the turret then just bolt in and out as u need?? just a suggestion fella

looking at that pic Paul, you will be pretty close to the top of the engine with that strut brace.

may have trouble with the heat sheild etc....

Wouldnt bother bolting it properly as the strut brace will do very little anyway (compared to the proper type)... You could rivnut, but as soon as it starts to move about, the rivnut may work loose, then you will struggle to get it unbolted at all....

Just use tapers

maybe wrong though.
