they never move on my pc ones i've saved from years ago and off my old pc work ok but never on the internet
eg
doesnt work
peoples avators don't move
is there anyway to sort this?

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia and make sure 'Play animations in webpages' is ticked. 
To open animated gif images, always use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.
