the first thing i would look out for is OTHER members now seeing this and bidding so its gonna cost you more


id also look at a 2wd conversion as 4x4 is ghey

oh and that personal plate is erm,,,,,,,,,, well just a normal plate,,,,,,,, j55 is a normal issue plate,,,,,,, not to mention means absolulty fook all

my cabrio has a personal plate then as thats h178amc,,,,,,,,, tis a cool plate

oh and be warned,,,,,,,,, white cossies are a fooker to sell on in the furture unless you sell it as a jigsaw puzzle

my cossie has traction in the wet,,,,,,,,, its called driving to the correct conditions


hell my cossie as done 140 constant speed from m6 to m1 and never lost traction,,,,,,,,,,,,, and that rain was sooo bad i could hardly see out the window,,,,,,,,,,,,, good job i wasnt driving

mate rwd aint that bad a thing mate,,,,,, just unplug the amal valve or fit a switch and she will be fine with it,,,,,,, you only loose the back end when driving like a cunt

i used my cossie all winter and never even kurb the wheel,,,,,,,, i evenslipped on ice one day and never belted the kurb,,,,,,,, 4wd wouldnt of helped then either

if your thinking about it whatever you do dont jump in head first.take your time as there is thousands out there some good and most are bad lol.
do a search on here for sapph buying guides as theres loads to look through just took my mate months to find the right one

yeah as smit says,,,,,,,,,,,, it needs a clutch now,,,, thats nothing wait till youve done a few boxes/front diffs and general work for the MOT

then theres the engine failures,,,,,,,,,, hell it will make a clutch feel like a oil change

if its looked after you shouldn't get many problems, i think for an everyday family car a 4x4 is much better than a 2wd.

4x4 is a smoother ride .... thats what everyone told me

depends on how far you want to go in the tuning game ..

if you are going to be happy at 350 - 380 ish then 4wd .. if you want more 2wd

yeah i'd prob only be going for stage 2 at the mo

also how big a job is the release bearing? i would have to pay a garage to do it as im clueless!
