how muc gear oil should a 2.0l twin cam diff take?

i just bought a litre and think it should lol, but thought id ask to make sure.

gonna be nailing in the welded diff later

just one more thing lol, it didnt look there was any sealer used on the mating faces of the cover and casing, is that right?

do i just nail it back on as is?

put a bit of silicone on the mating surfaces

dont put anything more than a very thin smear on it thoguh, you don't want the excess finding it's way into the diff

and if you haven't already undone the filler plug, make sure you do it before anyting else, they have beenknown to weld themselves in there and they don't come out without a lot of hassle
