Default MASSIVE MASSIVE THANKS TO DISCO AND STICKY

anyone who had read my last few post would know something was broke on my car, didnt have a clue what it was but dave and simon (sib) reconned it was the tri bearing on the drivers front driveshaft,

heres the good part.........

dave and paul after working all day then drove to my house in manchester from liverpool with the bits to fix my car and then on their own sorted it

car now drives shit hot again and i honestly cant thank these two gentleman enough that they have been working all day and then do a 90 mile round trip to fix someone elses car and include the new bits also

thank you guys i owe both of you quite a few drinks when we are next out

p.s. dont give either of them a shandy when working on your car pmsl

Ha nope on this occassion it was Disco. We did it Matt went out for a test drive and come back with a smile on his face and said he'd just beat an M3. Then Dave said did i tighten the pinch bolt up on the bottom ball joint. I said no, Dave said no.

We checked and it was just on enough

We're blaming the Shandy's

Hey Matt,

Glad it's all fixed - haven't met Dave but reading his posts he sounds like sound bloke so knew he'd come through - as for Sticky - he helped me loads at the Nurburgring, dead sound geezer for both of them!

What was wrong in the end? Tri bearing on the drive shaft? Snapped engine mount? Or someit else?

it was the drivers side bearing,the smaller bearings had gone and the large circular one was not rotating and wearing away.

just the norm when the engine mounts fook up.

Will be in touch when my gearbox and diffs need doing (450bhp and standard parts ) I think you specialise in them?
