still seen nothing spectular here yet jus a few rolls of thunder but then i've jus got out of chillis so may of missed the lighting

My pic was totally genuine and taken pointing the camera at a random point of sky and waiting for the sky to lighten before the bolt came down. Here's the other one that came out OK - altho its nothing compared with that one........

Great pics 
We got 2 pathetic flashes of lightning and a few whimpers of thunder in Ipswich - and it was hardly worth getting the garden furniture in the shed for the piddle of rain we had.
So disappointed.

Had a good storm last night. Pretty much drove straight through it and the lighting was touching down not far from me. Good blanket lightning and forked. Wish I'd had my camera in the car. Only down fall was all the divs driving really slowly. Get a bit of rain and no one can drive!
