Stockbroking
Hi Peeps
Wondering if someone could help me, I am currently working in the West end of London, and am looking at making the transition over to the City
I am very interested in the profession of becoming a stockbroker and studying for and taking the securities exams, i went for an interview at a firm a long time ago, I was offered the placement but turned it down, for my present job
I understand i will have to start at the bottom and work my way up, but i was enquiring if anyone of here either currently works as a stockbroker or knows someone in the industry at present.
A few questions like:
Which firms are best to apply to? or
Which recruitment agencies which deal with this sector?.

, do you need any certain qualifications to get in the door........As i stated i am a blank canvas in the world of stockbroking and just want to learn and progress.........
I've always been told that i have a business brain with a good personality, plus common sense (which most people lack nowadays)......
If you could drop me a PM with any contact e-mail addresses, plus some info it would be much appreciated..........

I could prob get you some info but looks like ya sorted 
a girl i work with her bro trades for Morgan Stanley and previously @ ABN and another mate works at DB but in IT and his bro in law trades for Merrills I think it is.
