Default Speed Sensor's and Boost controllers

As our old sheds don't have ecu speed outputs, how can this be got round? Does a fuel computer gearbox speed sensor work? Can they be calibrated within the controller?

some of our sheds do have speed sensors

don't get you? what do you mean? they do give a speed signal to the ecu, but whatever they're for, if they give a pulse or a voltage proportional to speed then your boost controller should be able to use it.
