engine change in fiesta si 1.6to 2.0(how easy?)
just got 1996 fiesta si want more power ,thinking of putting a 2ltr zetec in as i have one in the garage, anyone done this? how easy is it ? does the management stay the same? any help would be very gratefull cheers

You wil need to put your 1.6 zetec sump and pickup onto the 2.0 for it to fit. Will also need to use 1.8/1.6 zetec fiesta waterpump as they go the opposite way to the 2.0 modeo one.
Also the 1.6 inlet is restrictive and the 2.0 wont fit the fiesta. Rs1800 is one is the best straight fit mainfold. Same with exhaust manifold rs1800 item is best.
Management wise you need a DESK/DEEP/DEWY 2.0 ecu and a 2.0 maff aswell. All wirirng is the same just need to swap them over.

I ran mine on the original EEC-IV fiesta ecu for a while, got hold of a mondy one, but couldn't tell the difference, passed mot's with both ecu's in....
That said, it could have ran more power as i was using the 1.6 inlet, and a 15.5 at pod showed that.
But to answer the question, it basically bolts straight in.
