I had a catalogue on the power engineering one a few years ago, was well engineered, believe that due to increased stroke engine didn't rev as good but gave very good torque. It cost a lot of wedge though, so if it is proper should be a quick car. But why change a 3dr for a saff?

I've got an article in Top Car magazine on this conversion on both the 2wd and 4x4 version and a blat across France.

I seem to remember the suspension set-up was fine tuned by Mark Lovell.

I seem to remember people saying there are better ways to get a torquey Cosworth but I don't know personally as I've never had one.

I can dig the article out if you're interested but it won't be tonight.

Default 2.4

ALRITE, THE CAR IN QUESTION IS MINE. I HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS AND BROCHURES FOR THE CONVERSION INCLUDIN THE EXTRAS THAT WERE AVAILABLE. I ALSO HAVE MAGAZINE ARTICALS ON IT. THERE ARE RECIEPTS FOR EVEYTHING EVER DONE TO THE CAR WHICH AMOUNT TO OVER £30K.

CRANK: IS AN UNUSUAL DOUBLE COUNTER BALANCE, 91MM STEEL BILLET CRANK, HEAT TREATED FOR 48HRS
RODS: CARRILLO "H" SECTION STEEL RODS. SAME AS THE ONES USED IN A F1 ENGINE WHICH GENERATE UP TO 400BHP PER ROD
ALSO MODDIFIED OIL COOLING JETS, HEAD PORTED/POLISHED BOTH

INLET AND OUTLET.
THE ABOVE IS TAKEN FROM SOME OF THE DOCUMENTS I HAVE FROM POWER + ENGINEERING NOT MADE UP AND ALSO THE WORDING IS THERES NOT MINE!
ANY MORE QUESTIONS ON IT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE ANSWER IN THE BOOKLETS SOMEWHERE.
