Just been on the phone to the local Ford dealer for a couple of minor bits for the Cossie and while I was on the phone I could hear the guy talking to his mate in the background saying, 'Oh yes, he was up here in that red Escort Cossie the other day, it was absolutely beautiful'. Well chuffed.

Lee, I know mate, I still think about it a lot and in some ways it was definitely better than this one when it was at it's most modified. But I do like red a lot!

It's such a shame I can't sell it. It is a great looking car and I'd love it to go to someone who's going to use it. I used to use it every day but since I changed jobs and have a 60+ mile round trip for work I barely use it any more.

 

I think a lot of people are struggling to sell them at the moment mate. I've seen some really class cars lately going up for sale, and they seem to sit for ages. And I certainly know about commuting, I have a 120 mile round trip. Nightmare.
