the descrition is very contradicting

these were made specifically for the Cosworth WRC programme. They are a cool grade plug designed to withstand massive combustion temperatures and compression. The WRC engine ran 50 psi boost
These plugs are ideally suited to any engine with a long reach type plug, running between 200 - 300 bhp.
if you have a Cosworth running more than 300 bhp, dont worry. I have a few sets of RC505 plugs that are a grade hotter that will suit your engine

so they are good for a standard / stage 1 cossie ..
but need different for stage 3+

so .. make your own mimd up im sticking with my 071's from ford

More power needs COOLER plugs, not hotter.

The 071 work so well that i dont bother with fancy plugs anymore for mine, i used to run it on 90 quid a set iridiums but i just dont bother anymore.

I see no point in looking into other options when you can get a set of plugs for 6 quid or whatever that work perfectly.

The WRC engine ran 50 psi boost
so 300 bhp from 50 psi ... not exactly eficient then .. even if they do have alot of torque...

what do you set the 071's to on a escos stage 3 approx 350 bhp? i know they should be gapped wid the feelers at a angle, remember seeing the pic on here. whats the metric and imperial gap setting, thanks

Eagle they are only allowed MAX 300BHP..they use 50psi midrange to get the HUGE torque, very efficient way of getting as much out of an engine thats restricted
