Junction 18 the Bath turn off, turn left at the traffic lights at the top of the slip road and then just follow the signs to the circuit, it is very well sign posted.

M4 J18, turn off north then take the first right almost immediately. The signage will take you further on to chipping sodbury and then back again.

Those little lanes are a bit frightening if you meet someone coming the other way a bit quick though....

I thought you meant the little shortcut through Tormarton? I was certainly glad to be following someone when i went that way - I normally go on the B4040/4039 and through the speed traps....

not "through" Tormarton, across above it to Acton Turville, turn right through Burton then Castle Combe. Equally as quick as the motorway

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...p.x=290&up.y=6

road that runs above and parallel to the motorway - Castle Combe is just off the bottom right hand corner.

IMO its much quicker to get off at J17 of the M4 and go the A420 route, the bath junction does look shorter, but i think that the chippenham one is quicker roads

IMO of course!

Or, if you extra extra sneaky, do what i do and go in to the services between 18 and 17 and sly out the exit round by the hotel

But IMO out the 2 ways, Junc 18 is quicker from bristol/M5 direction, just cause its SUCH a long drive to 17!
