Alternator cable replacement??

I want to replace my alternator to battery cable with some nice new cable. The question is what ampage and where from?? Anyone who's done this let me know please.

bigger the better really

Car audio cable is good, as it's silicone coated and very flexible. If you go for some 2 gauge, that will be spot on

Battery cable 2/3 way down. I used the 11.8mmO/D stuff, probably overkill but the one i replaced was all corroded green/black and very brittle by the turbo.
