So me and my Next door neighbour have had an ongoing battle over whos cars make the most power!!! He has a new pontiac GTO he reckons is 550bhp and we have a Jaguar XJR 500bhp we though according to modifiers claims. So we finally settled it saturday. It was brill old mans car made an impressive 489 bhp which we were pleased with and the pontiac made 407 im so chuffed lol,, just goes to show dynos tell the real truth although i have heard some read different and you can get mroe or less of certain dynos

 

I bet he ain't happy now, at least yours was very near what you said not 140bhp short.
