T38 from Turbo Technics is the Daddy.

Nice Big Snail, nearly the size of a T4 on the front too, much bigger than a bored out T34 housing like most of them.

i had a Turbo Tec T38 a couple of years ago, was quite alot lagier and had a few surging isues on my spec of engine.

More recently have been on the universals T38, its been brilliant, very low lag like the T34 but yet it can deliver and hold the bigger boost thats required.

The turbo Tec T38 may be able to give mildly larger power figures but the way the Universals T38 drove and behaved suited my driving alot better.

almost instant boost compared to the other.

on mine the Universals T38 was able to deliver 2.4 bar by about 3500rpm and was strong all the way to the redline, which certainly won my vote.

Its just i have a TT T38 and keep thinking what to do with it, i have a ported head but standard cams at the moment. Also mine is fitted with a T34.55 so it drives very nice, but you always want more
